BNI® (Business Network International), the world’s largest and most successful business networking organisation, has announced the appointment of its first-ever Chief Product Officer (CPO) Mark Clauss. He is an experienced senior product executive who has joined BNI’s Global Leadership Team. In his new role, Clauss will head significant research and innovation to help in the growth of the company under any business environment.
In February, BNI had launched new technology, training, and process enhancements like BNI Online™ in response to the current business environment. In the first seven months of 2020, BNI generated a business of over $8.9 billion (USD) by around 270,000 members via 6.7 million referrals. BNI is now working on transforming the landscape of global business with a high-touch and high-tech approach, hence appointing a CPO will help in the process.
Clauss has an experience of over 20 years in senior-level market research and product development. Most recently, he has worked with Gartner, international research and advisory firm, as the Managing Vice President of Product Development and Management. He has previously worked with reputed companies like Eizel Technologies, CEB, Broadpoint, and McKinsey & Company. His educational background includes an MBA from Cornell’s Johnson Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Cornell University, specializing in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering.
