Aeroxchange, the impartial purchasing portal, and the solitary business system serving the aviation MRO industry announced that Air Astana had gone live on AeroBuy®, followed by plans to implement AeroRepair® shortly. Air Astana will gain access to AeroBuy and AeroRepair as part of a deal between the two firms, allowing the airline to automate its parts sourcing and repair management processes.

AeroBuy and AeroRepair would enable Air Astana to streamline parts procurement and repair order management, enhance sourcing opportunities and pricing, increase supply chain transparency, and improve coordination with trading partners.

According to Albert Koszarek, President and CEO of Aeroxchange, Air Astana would achieve operational efficiencies by integrating its Trax system with the Aeroxchange network and removing the need to handle numerous connections hundreds of suppliers. He said that they are thrilled to welcome Air Astana to their network, and they look forward to growing their presence in Central Asia and Eastern Europe.

Yerbol Baimbekov, Vice President Procurement and Supply at Air Astana, anticipated optimism that the efficiencies and efficacy of Aeroxchange platforms would be realized at the right moment.
