By the end of 2020, the organization built and installed over 130 megawatts (MW) of solar projects, helping to offset 119,490 metric tonnes of CO2.
BlueWave Solar has now secured over 1 gigawatt (GW) of sites for potential solar and storage projects across eight states in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. This momentum will continue across 2021. BlueWave Solar’s community solar servicing company has 20-year service agreements with more than ten well-capitalized institutional clients and now has over 500 MW under active management or contracted for 2021.
Despite facing numerous obstacles due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the solar industry has remained an essential part of the country’s renewable energy environment.
