CData Software, a leading supplier of data connectivity solutions, recently announced the promotion of Kathy Priest to the chief legal officer, reporting to CEO and Founder Amit Sharma.
Kathy will be in charge of the company’s global legal, operational processes, including the corporate legal strategic plan, product compliance, data protection, and intellectual property. Kathy will lead the effort to push the advancement and enhancement of the legal department to assist revenue growth, consumer experience, and the expansion of international subsidiaries as CData continues to expand rapidly.
Kathy joined CData Software in 2015 and most recently served as Vice President and General Counsel. Kathy has a bachelor’s degree from Northwest Nazarene University and a law degree from Santa Clara University School of Law. She has more than 20 years of legal experience. She previously worked for ARM Holdings as Corporate Counsel, BOPS, Inc. as General Counsel, and Priest & Goldstein, PLLC as Managing Partner.
