ESDS Software Solution Limited, one of India’s most prominent Managed Cloud Service and end-to-end multi-Cloud requirements providers, announced the release of its digital platform ‘Famrut’ at their Nashik Data Center recently.
The event was held in the presence of Dr. Shashitai Ahire (President, Sahakar Bharati, Maharashtra State; Chairman, Nashik District Women’s Co-operative Bank; President, Ayurveda Institute), Mr. Dhiraj Chaudhari (CEO, Dhule Nandurbar District Co-operative Bank), Mr. Shivaji Amale (Deputy Commissioner, Nashik Municipal Corporation), Dr. Satyendra Singh (Deputy director & In-charge NHRDF – National Horticulture Research & Development Foundation), Mr. Satish Mathur (Chief Executive Officer – PINC Insurance), and Mr. Sudhakar Khade (Farmer) as the guests of honor.
Famrut’s primary goal is to connect farmers with relevant stakeholders in the agricultural ecosystem to help them extract maximum yield and thus income from their land. Famrut is a business that focuses on providing farming solutions to farmers all over the country.
A majority of farmers face several challenges, including a lack of resources, lack of direct access to the market, unusual weather conditions affecting crop production, and long hours of manual labor. Farmers will be able to communicate with agronomists of their choice, gain access to banking and financial products, marketplaces, and crop and cattle management through ESDS’s Famrut.
Mr. Piyush Somani, Managing Director and Chairman of ESDS, commented on the launch, saying that he is incredibly proud of the entire ESDS team for creating Famrut. This app was designed with the needs of farmers in mind and how they can assist in their resolution. Piyush went on to say that the farmers will benefit from Famrut. They are a technology-driven company, and they have made it a point to use technology as much as possible. Famrut is their first foray into the agri-tech sector, and they hope that by doing so, they will be able to assist farmers, cooperative societies, and the government.
Mr. Kishore Shah, Head – SPOCHUB, expressed his thoughts on the occasion, saying the team has put in a lot of effort to develop Famrut, and they are all excited to see it finally release recently. Famrut aspires to be a valuable resource for their farmers. Their goal is to use technology to make farmers’ jobs easier in their fields while also increasing their income through the ecosystem. Famrut was created to meet their requirements. Famrut was developed using on-the-ground research, input from various agricultural experts, and a mix of digital technology.
