The launch of Huddl.ai video collaboration platform on 22 July 2020, holds promise with features and integration capabilities that would encourage employee engagement and productivity. The platform automatically manages all meeting content via a real-time collaborative notes application, a recommendation engine that suggests meeting agendas based on participants, and an automatic speech recognition function that turns speech into searchable text.
Huddl.ai raised a total of $8.7 million in funding for further product development and company growth. Angel investors Lip Bu Tan, Sanjay Jha, and Pradeep Sindhu contributing a total of $2.5 million, followed by a seed round of $6.25 million coming from Propel Venture Partners, Bloomberg Beta, BoxGroup, Bain Capital Partners, and former San Francisco 49ers player Ronnie Lott.
