Indianapolis-based technology staffing and managed resource provider, Lucid Services Group, has announced the launch of a new business segment dedicated to serving federal government departments and agencies.
Lucid has a long history of delivering staffing services in the IT, healthcare, and life sciences sectors. Lucid CEO Bethany Robinson stated that they believe their forte is attracting and maintaining talent within the engineering and IT industries. This characteristic has placed them well to serve in a more conventional support contractor role within the federal space. She further stated that they develop project delivery teams to help clients execute essential business tasks, which is, in essence, the service model used for federal contracts.
John Galligan, COO, said that Lucid Federal brings over a decade of electronics experience, including circuit design engineering and embedded systems development. He stated that their deep bench in IT decision and business support, combined with this expertise, makes them a solution provider for technology challenges in defense areas. He added that they don’t have to travel far to find opportunities to compete as an Indiana-based company for the state’s federal defense installations. Still, they do plan to look for opportunities nationally as they move forward.
Bethany Robinson said that having grown up with Crane NSWC practically in his backyard, this service line expansion is personally exciting and satisfying for him. She said that she is a firm believer in what southern Indiana can bring to the national defense landscape as a Bloomington resident. She is excited to see her company play a part in the region’s continued growth.
