She is committed to developing highly motivated, customer-driven technical teams and leaders, besides her teams’ growth and development, balancing a consistently exceptional customer experience. With her focus on enabling customer success, Simone held various senior leadership positions in Great Britain and Australia before joining Kasada. She also served as Director for Customer Support & Success across APAC at Atlassian. Simone lives in Sydney and is empowered with passion for people, collaboration, and inclusivity.

The second expert in this new leadership is Neil CohenChief Marketing Officer, a versatile tech executive who carries 25 years of combined marketing, product management, and engineering experience. As former VP of Global Marketing at Akamai Technologies, he ran worldwide marketing for a $1.3 billion cybersecurity and web performance business. He also served as VP of Product Marketing at Akamai, helping the double organization revenue, launched new products repeatedly, and helped them into businesses exceeding hundreds of millions of dollars. Neil desires to bring disruptive B2B technology to market and achieve rapid customer adoption. His diverse tech experience lies across several areas, including cybersecurity, big data, cloud/edge computing, and blockchain.

The third tech expert in this new leadership is Mike Romans, Sales Director for Australia and New Zealand. Mike’s career defines his sales strategy, team building, and execution of mutually beneficial outcomes for customers and alliance partners alike. From his native United States to Korea, Great Britain, and Australia, Mike has led sales teams worldwide for over twenty years, from international bases. He has specialized in the cybersecurity market since 2013, leading sales for global SaaS security companies. Mike is based in Australia, dedicated to solving challenges, disrupting the status quo, and continuously striving for the highest performance standards.

Andy Swett, Senior Vice President, Sales is the fourth industry veteran in new leadership with a passion for ambitious, tech-driven enterprises. He previously served for cybersecurity ventures driving channel and direct sales, including ThreatMetrix, Pindrop Security, and Datavisor, and also has provided interim VP sales and business strategy consulting to early-stage startups. Andy founded sales technology leader CallidusCloud, early in his career. He is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, who enjoys working with customers and partners, strengthening mutually beneficial relationships around complex technology solutions.

The new leadership hires also include David Turner, Head of Engineering, an experienced technology leader holding over fifteen years of software engineering experience. He has served for some of Australia’s most successful tech industry startups. Before joining Kasada, David was Head of Engineering at Zip Co and formerly held technical leadership positions at Domain and OFX. Based in Sydney, he appreciates building strong engineering teams with a high-performance culture.

The CEO of Kasada, Pascal Podvin, stated that their new leadership team members bring a wealth of experience to their roles and scale the business to support their expanding operations beyond Australia, their founding country.
