Kahoot!, a game based learning platform recently announced the appointment of Lars Erik Grønntun as the Chief Operating Officer as well as Chief Marketing Officer of Kahoot! Equipped with more than 25 years of experience in leading professional service businesses, Grønntun will contribute toward the company’s growth and expansion. 

Prior to his recent endeavour, Grønntun held the position as Global President for a foremost global communication consultancy, Hill-Knowlton Strategies. Here, he was bestowed with an array of leadership roles including CEO of Europe and EMEA. Grønntun is set to start managing Kahoot!’s operational plan and develop the company’s global communication scheme by assuming the role from June 1, 2020. 

Talking about his new role, Grønntun stated that he is ecstatic to be joining a cutting-edge learning platform like Kahoot! He is said to be profoundly impressed by the company’s results and plans to help it reach the highest of heights during his run, by fortifying company’s operations along with Kahoot!’s strategic positioning. ‘There is much more to come for Norway’s first tech unicorn’ he further added.  

CEO of Kahoot!, Eilert Hanoa, speaking about the new addition to the team said that they are stoked to welcome Grønntun aboard. With his expertise in operational leadership, he will bring in the company’s next phase of growth in the coming 12 months, he elaborated.
