Logically, a revolutionary news curator and social media credibility tool is launched in the U.S., ahead of the 2020 elections. The tool is a browser extension that identifies and contest the spread of misinformation and fallacy through online content. The present online scenario is jam-packed with fake news. Hence, Logically rooted in A.I. is debuting into the U.S. market to induce credibility and confidence to news and social discourse. Logically is affiliated with the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) and is well recognized in the U.K. and India. It now has surfaced its Chrome extension in the U.S. The extension will fact check, analyze and gauge the credibility of the online content and social media comments.

To offer the reader an immersive experience of the story Logically marks and highlights key people, places, institutions, and topics relevant to the news headlines. It also offers a thesaurus of articles via Related Articles tab to enable readers to navigate articles on similar topics from various sources and attain the comprehensive knowledge on that topic. Logically adds the capability to fact check any claim in any news source for a specific reader. The Fact Check Tab in the extension offers the user to check the claims. At the Social Media front for social platforms such as Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, and YouTube, the Logically extension fact-checks and determines the level of toxicity in social posts and comments. The post is analyzed, and if it is considered toxic, the post is labeled and obscured. Claims mentioned in the post of social media platforms can also be fact-checked through the extension with ease.
Lyric Jain, founder and CEO of Logically remarked that with the ease of online publishing, it is becoming difficult for the people to identify which sources are credible and which aren’t, paving the way for toxic news to travel faster than truth. He said that their goal is to stop the spread of misinformation and empower people with utilities that help them cope with information overload by determining the credibility and integrity of sources. He added that they want to ensure people see both sides of an issue by adding context to keep elections fair by providing facts while reducing threats and influence operations.
Logically functions with multiple A.I. models in sync with natural language processions (NLP), which allow it to process, understand, and analyze text. It is developed on a set of modular processes that can analyze endless amounts of data, technology ingests, extracts, and finally structures information to create context.
