L&T Technology Services (LTTS) recently stated that it plans to achieve carbon and water neutrality by 2030 and has released its first sustainability report.  The report, which follows the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), summarises LTTS’s sustainability activities for 2020 and 2021.

According to a statement from the company, L&T Technology Services Limited, a major worldwide pure-play engineering services company, has published its first Sustainability Report for the year 2020-21, along with a path to reach carbon and water neutrality by 2030.

Sustainability is one of LTTS’ six ‘Big Bets’ on new technology and one that cuts across the other five ‘Big Bets,’ including EACV, 5G, MedTech, AI, and digital products and digital manufacturing.

The sustainability practice of LTTS is focused on developing engineering services-based innovative digital solutions that correspond with customers’ sustainability goals.

According to the statement, the corporation has made net-zero a fundamental sustainability goal. It will use its broad competencies in energy transition and administration, water and waste management, circular product design, digital intervention, sustainability consultancy, and climate action to achieve it.
