Executive Vice President, and General Counsel, Oracle, Dorian Daley, described how Google as a platform has grown in size and market share, increasing entry barriers and lowering the opportunity to compete. Dorian further explained how Google stole Java and prosecuted it for a decade, as only a monopolist would, which is why regulators worldwide, including in the United States, are looking into Google’s business practices.
Oracle publicly stated that it disagreed with the court’s decision, claiming that it had given Google even more control and harmed other companies’ ability to compete.
Oracle Cloud provides integrated application suites as well as stable, self-contained infrastructure.
