Ricoh USA, Inc., a company revolutionizing cloud technologies, has been awarded the “Best Cloud Hosting Provider” at the international Cloud Awards. Ricoh was also amongst the finalists in two other major categories: “Best Cloud Consultancy” and “Best Cloud Infrastructure.”
Bob Lamendola, vice president of infrastructure and engineering services at Ricoh USA Inc., took it as an honor to be nominated as the finalist of three major categories at the Cloud Awards. Bob explained how Ricoh Group has adopted an innovative strategy for cloud infrastructure services that supports more flexibility and creativity. He believes Ricoh strives to provide technological advancements in cloud services to help their customers break the barriers and fiercely accept the challenges of today’s IT ecosystem.
Head of Operations for the Cloud Awards, James Williams, states how it was a near-impossible task for the Cloud Awards team to sort the exceptional from the excellent. As Ricoh managed to employ cloud technologies to deliver groundbreaking results, they became the deserving finalist in the 2020-21 Cloud Awards program.
James also explained how every year, the Cloud Awards team would find themselves in simple awe at cloud-based solutions’ agility and scalability while presenting the awards. He thinks that from online shopping carts to major BPO units, cloud technologies have been the grease that spins industries’ global wheel. Cloud has been at the center of considerable behavioral change in innovating ways of working.
According to lead judge Richard Geary, cloud technologies make a good platform for turning around urgent applications rapidly and at scale. This change was witnessed in the range of innovative technological responses to the pandemic that we have witnessed.
