TuneCore, an Independent distribution and publishing company, owned by the Believe Group, has announced that CEO Scott Ackerman will step down from his position on 15 April 2020. Ackerman will continue as a strategic advisor to Denis Ladegaillerie, CEO of Believe Group. The search for a new CEO is on now. Ackerman started his journey in TuneCore as President and COO in 2010 and became CEO in 2012. Before joining TuneCore, he held senior management positions at eHarmony, Orbitz, US Airways and American Airlines.
The decision was made by Ackerman himself and he said “I truly enjoyed working for TuneCore and after ten amazing years, I made the decision to end my tenure to pursue other opportunities”. He also added, “I remain committed to working with Believe in an advisory capacity on strategic initiatives as TuneCore continues to grow.”
