The 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors are used in more than 100 application-optimized systems, besides Hyper, the Twin Product Family (BigTwin ®, TwinPro ®, and FatTwin ®), Ultra, CloudDC, GPU, Telco/5G, SuperBlade® and Edge servers. In the Ultra and Hyper platforms, the top-of-the-line Intel Xeon Platinum 8380 processor with 40 cores running at 2.3 GHz delivers industry-leading performance. The network-optimized CPUs are used in a broad range of 5G and embedded edge systems. Cloud Service Providers benefit from the Big Twin multi-node and SuperBlade systems’ simplicity and reliability with Intel Speed Select CPUs.
The single-processor WIO and storage systems also provide significant cost savings for general-purpose and storage applications. Water-cooled configurations for high-power CPUs in high-density systems in HPC installations with a direct liquid cooling option are included in the portfolio. It removes the disadvantages of conventional air-cooling for heat dissipation and lowering overall data center operating costs.
The 3rd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable processors were created with true versatility in mind. They’re the only data center processors with AI acceleration built-in, and they’re designed to handle workloads from the Edge to the cloud.
