Dow will lead Tilson’s Innovation efforts under this new position, including research, development, and commercialization initiatives for Tilson’s toolset and service offerings.
The CEO of Tilson, Josh Broder, asserted that Mike has been crucial to every stage of Tilson’s growth, from founding the company, leading the construction IT team, and scaling their consulting practice. The creation of this new position of Chief Innovation Officer shows the company’s expanded focus on technology, innovation, and the future of information infrastructure. He further added that Mike is ideally suited to lead Tilson’s new structured and disciplined approach to its innovation efforts, because of his entrepreneurial vision besides his ability to adapt and pivot quickly in emerging markets.
Under this new role as Chief Innovation Officer, Dow will leverage Tilson’s current strategic and academic partnerships while seeking new partnerships with other leaders in the information infrastructure innovation space, including vital Tilson vendors and employees. This effort will lead Tilson to invest in leveraging artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and integrated systems for infrastructure monitoring and management.
Dow stated that he is honored to take on this new role and develop the first structured innovation program by Tilson. He found it enjoyable to accelerate their ability to create high-impact projects and programs by investing in the toolset to promote the client’s work and stay on the cutting edge of space. He said that they aim to continue to scale to deploy 5G, fiber, network technologies, and information systems.
