Vungle, a leading mobile ad, and in-app monetization platform, announced the appointment of Jeremy Bondy as CEO on Nov. 9, 2020. Former COO at Vungle, Bondy succeeds Rick Tallman, who moves to Strategic Advisor for Vungle.
In 2015, Tallman joined the company as COO and was promoted to CEO in 2017. Under Tallman’s vision and leadership, Vungle has encountered substantial growth and is also a leading player in the in-app mobile marketing space. Rick Tallman, the outgoing CEO at Vungle, stated that Jeremy had been a critical contributor to Vungle’s success for many years, and it is his honor to pass over the reins to him. He further added that Jeremy’s work spearheading the company’s global expansion, together with his unmatched understanding of Vungle’s customers, business, people, and culture, make him the ideal person to lead the company into its next chapter.
Bondy has held several senior sales and operational roles at the company, most recently as COO, since he joined Vungle in 2014. Throughout his tenure, Bondy has been responsible for setting up and scaling Vungle’s global commercial organization, establishing seasoned and tenured teams in London, Berlin, Beijing, Seoul, New York, Singapore, Tokyo, and Los Angeles.
Jeremy Bondy, Vungle’s new CEO, asserted that he is honored to assume the role of CEO. Vungle has several exciting future growth opportunities. He foresees guiding their world-class team in creating the industry’s leading suite of tools to support mobile app developers to maximize their businesses’ value. He further added that on behalf of the entire Vungle organization, he wants to express his gratification for Rick towards his invaluable contributions to the company’s historical success and, personally, for Rick’s mentorship in preparing him for this role.
